Board of Directors

Jordi Guaus
Jordi Guaus is a Telecom Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and also holds a degree in Business Administration from the Open University of Catalonia. He joined CaixaBank in the year 2000, having worked at Vodafone for 5 years as the in-charge of Corporate Market Services Development, prior to that. At CaixaBank, a leading retail bank in Spain, Jordi has worked in Mobile Financial Services, developing services including the first Mobile Internet Banking. While working as the Head of Mobile Payments, Jordi leaded the NFC & Remote Payments related initiative at CaixaBank. Where, he was focus on Mobile Payments in collaboration with the Cards Unit of CaixaBank. Moreover, he was the Project Manager of the mobile NFC pilot in Sitges, Spain (“Mobile Shopping Sitges 2010”), the first NFC payment trial in Spain. Later, he worked in the deployment of CaixaBank’s mobile payment services. In 2014 Jordi joined the CaixaBank’s Marketing Department as a Digital Marketing Director to give transversal support to all marketing team and to focus on innovative projects. Some of the more relevant projects managed by Jordi during this period are the launch of imaginBank, first mobile only bank in Spain, the creation of the Payment Innovation Hub together with Samsung, Visa, Arval and Global Payments, and the opening of the imaginCafe, a physical place for the millennials. In addition, from 2008 to 2015, Jordi was member of the Mobile Channel Working Group of the European Payments Council (EPC) working on establishing the necessary standards and business rules related to the initiation and receipt of credit transfer, direct debit and card payments through mobile devices under SEPA (Single European Payment Area). Jordi also joined the Mobey Forum’s Board of Directors in the year 2009, and he was appointed as Chairman of the Board in 2013 leading the association since them. Mobey Forum is a non-profit making, global, financial industry-driven forum, with a clear mission to encourage the use of digital/mobile technology in financial services. Furthermore, Jordi has also been coleading several expert groups within Mobey, as for example the last one, the Open Banking Expert Group, and he has participated in the publishing of several white papers as a result of that.
Bent Bentsen
DNB Bank
Mr. Bentsen currently serves as Senior Advisor of Group Payments and Infrastructure at DNB Bank ASA. Within this role Mr. Bentsen has been working with mobile financial services since 2002 and also advises on mobile infrastructure, covering mobile banking, mobile security and mobile payments, among other banking and payments infrastructure topics. Mr. Bentsen joined Mobey Forum in 2001 and became the main representative of DnB NOR, the predecessor of DNB Bank, in 2002. He has held a seat on the Board of Directors since 2006 and was elected Vice Chair in 2008
Petra Bunschoten
Petra Bunschoten currently serves as Initiative Lead for Invisible Tickets, a Fintech initiative within ING. Within this role she is responsible for the development of a new transit product, preparing commercial launches in Europe and the spin-out of the initiative. She has been working in the banking industry since 2000 and held various roles with a focus on mobile & digital innovations.
George Charalambous
George Charalambous was appointed Head of Mobile Banking with effect from 1st January 2014 overseeing all aspects of Mobile Banking services and digital pipeline across HSBC’s UK retail businesses, HSBC, first direct and M&S Bank. George’s career at HSBC spans over 18 years during which he has completed a diverse number of roles across the Branch Network, Contact Centres and Head Office functions including Credit Risk, Change Delivery and Customer Value Management. He has been responsible for a number of key step change programmes for the organisation including the rollout of Positive Data Sharing, Contactless Debit cards and the Paym mobile payments service. More recently, he is leading the evaluation of the innovative Zapp mobile payments solution, and a number of other Mobile Payment/Digital wallet solutions for the UK bank. George lives in Holmfirth and is married with 2 children.
Veronica Lange
Veronica Lange currently serves as Head of Multichannel Strategy for UBS Switzerland. Within this role she is responsible for the driving the digital strategy for individual and corporate customers and leads specific innovation projects for online and mobile channels. Prior to her current assignment she held various international roles in the banking industry with a focus on digital innovations and marketing. Veronica Lange is a board member of Mobey Forum since December 2013.
Maurizio Poletto
Erste Group Bank
After studying branding and graphic design in Italy Maurizio Poletto moved to Vienna in 1996 to work on new media projects for several large European brands and cultural institutions. In 2003 he founded Collettiva Design to focus on branding and innovation strategy. In September 2012 he was appointed as creative manager and managing director of BeeOne GmbH, a strategic innovation unit for Erste Group, one of the largest central European financial institutions. He has a wife, two kids and a bike.
Ville Sointu
Ville Sointu leads Nordea’s emerging technologies research and development team. He’s been working in financial technology space since 2002 and has held several key positions worldwide in financial services and connected devices industries. In addition to his role with Mobey Forum Ville is involved with several industry fora like EBA, EBF, OECD and European Commission’s Blockchain Observatory.
Kasper Sylvest
Danske Bank
Kasper Sylvest Olsen currently serves as a senior manager in Danske Banks Group Financial Infrastructure department. In this role he acts as an expert on various financial market infrastructures in both payments and securities. Kasper is a member of a number of committees, working groups and task forces. Before his current position Kasper has worked as an (IT) project manager in Danske Bank and before joining Danske Bank he worked for 7 years as an economist in the Payment Systems Department in the Danish Central Bank. Kasper holds and M.Sc. in Economics
Jukka Yliuntinen
Giesecke & Devrient
Mr. Yliuntinen serves as Regional Head of Global Solution Sales in Giesecke & Devrient’s Financial Institutions Division. In his role he is supporting banks and other financial institutions to deploy mobile payment and banking solutions. He joined G&D in the beginning of 2011 from Venyon, where he was responsible on driving the deployment of NFC-based applications and Trusted Service Management services. Jukka has 20 years’ experience on payment, mobile and identification technologies and businesses. He has been following Mobey Forum activities, since 2007 and joined as member of the Board of Directors in 2014.
André Zölch
Mr. Zölch currently serves as Head of Market Development at PostFinance Ltd, the fourth largest retail bank in Switzerland. In this position he is responsible for the initiation, development and market introduction of digital innovations including the evaluation and the relationship management of the strategic partnerships needed. Furthermore, he is responsible for the strategies regarding value added services. With the combination of an apprenticeship in computer science and studies in business administration, Mr. Zölch enjoys bringing together the worlds of technology and economics. Prior to this position, Mr. Zölch worked as Senior Market Developer for more than seven years. Mr. Zölch is also an active member of the mobile wallet taskforce/predictive analytics workgroup for more than 4 years.

Elina Mattila
Executive Director
Elina Mattila is Executive Director at Mobey Forum. With years of experience in the financial services and technology industries, Elina has held senior roles across the association since 2012. Before joining Mobey, Elina was a journalist specialising in digital disruption.  Elina holds an MSc in Political Economy of Development from the  SOAS, University of London.
Salli Pirneskoski
Member Relations Manager
Salli Pirneskoski is Member Relations Manager at Mobey Forum. Salli’s background is in communications, having worked in multinational corporations as well as in governmental bodies. She has recently relocated back to Finland after working five years as a consultant in Brazil. Salli holds a Master´s Degree in Science of Communication from the University of Vaasa.
Laura Lind
Member Relations Manager (on maternity leave)
Laura Lind is Member Relations Manager at Mobey Forum. Laura has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, having held various positions in development and export finance prior to joining Mobey. Laura holds a Master´s Degree in International Relations from Tallinn University of Technology.
