Financial Institutions

Financial Institutions are entitled to Ordinary Membership (“Full Member”). As an Ordinary Member your Financial Institution can participate

• Board of Directors – Ordinary Members can nominate candidates for the Board of Directors. Annual election takes place at the Annual General Meeting, which is held between January and April.
• Mobey Member Meetings – Global meetings with high level speakers are held quarterly. First hand industry insight on member pilots and implementations and business model alternatives are discussed through case studies and presentations. Future orientated debates take place in the Meetings, which are also excellent platforms for networking. 2-3 delegates per company (depending on facilities)
• Mobey Workgroups – Workgroups are available for Ordinary Members only, and they offer a great possibility to exchange expertise between the peers. Workgroups are actively working on creating a common understanding of business opportunities, trends and challenges of various mobile financial service areas.
• Task Forces – Task Forces are available for all members and they are created on need basis and dissolved when the assigned task is performed. The latest deliverable from Remote Payments Task Force was the Mobey Forum White Paper “Implementer Guidelines for Remote Mobile Payments”, which was published in June 2010.
