PostFinance is an autonomous business unit of Swiss Post. It has evolved from the number one payment services provider to a fully fledged financial institution with 2.7 million customers and total assets of over CHF 83 billion as at mid-2010. PostFinance is the fourth largest financial institution in Switzerland and positions itself primarily in the payments and savings market segments. In addition, it offers simple and inexpensive products and services relating to investments, financing and retirement planning. Its corporate development has enabled PostFinance to create around 150 full-time positions throughout Switzerland every year since 1998.
