DNB Bank’s main representative in Mobey Forum and currently hold the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Directors.
Why are you and DNB Bank involved in Mobey Forum?
We believe it’s the most important place for us to learn, share, influence and connect within the mobile financial services ecosystem.
What is your vision for the future of the industry in two years time and five years time?
I hope that during the next two years we will see extensive commercial NFC payment rollouts worldwide. In five years I believe NFC will follow the development of future technology and be available in every handset in the market. I also believe by then we will experience a big change from physical to mobile wallets. I’m an optimist until proven wrong....
What are the current key issues facing the industry?
It’s actually that too many stakeholders want too much of the cake. A somewhat more modest approach in collaboration discussions would speed up development of the ecosystem, which in the end would benefit all participants involved.
